Beverly J. Davis, 78, Rockford, Illinois formerly of Oblong, IL, Springfield, IL and Bloomington, IL passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Swedish American Hospital, Rockford, IL.
Beverly was born on September 14, 1936 in Oblong, IL. She was the daughter of Harry Matheny and Mary Evelyn (Dickey) Matheny. Beverly was a member of the Oblong High School Class of 1954. She worked for State Farm Insurance Company, Southern Auto Division in Bloomington, IL for 10 years retiring in 2003.
Beverly is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mark and Cheri Davis of Stillman Valley, IL; her daughter Kimberly Haller of Chatham, IL; three grandchildren Sean, Aaron and Brandon Davis all of Rockford, IL; two brothers and sisters-in-law Don and Ruth Matheny of Olney, IL and Larry and Linda Matheny of Ft. Collins, CO.; niece Christy and Rick Lawson of Coal Valley, IL; great nephew Lance Lawson of Coal Valley, IL; several cousins including cousin Sherry of Charleston, IL and second cousin Heather.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Scott Haller.
